I'm appalled, Jay. How can you realistically expect to write an interesting game story if you're just interested in filling in the blanks? It's not about the final score, it's about the story inside the game. Pigeonholing yourself like that cheats your readers and shows laziness.

I can't stress enough how important it is to major in something other than journalism. Work for the school paper. Intern. But you'll be so better served having a backup plan.

The quotes in those national notebooks are from interviews in group settings. If this was truly a one-on-one interview, which the original post claims, then it is plagiarism.

Plagiarism. That's pretty clear cut, if it wasn't attributed to the other paper.
