I am forever amused reading the "rules" of reporting/writing/interviewing that appear on this board when in fact there aren't any, other than getting it right.
It's a pretty fair and depressing snapshot of where we are as a society when essentially every critique of a writer on this board is met by some variation of, "Look how much money he makes/he makes more money than you do."
Yes, why would I choose to deal with an extra 10 minutes getting through security or an extra 3 minutes waiting to de-plane because of the large quantity of carry-ons when I could wait up to 45 minutes for my checked bag to come off the carousel? Can't imagine.
Because everything these days must be criminalized and punished.
Everything.
Some country we've turned into.
