Did any of them line up behind center and run their team's offense when not lined up at tailback? You can argue for Daniel all you want, but the closest he gets to the Heisman is if he gets a seat next to Tebow or McFadden in New York.

McFadden has 1,725 yards rushing (more than he had last year) and 15 TDs. That doesn't even take into account his passing TDs. And as I alluded to earlier, he had 321 yards in one game, which tied the conference record. Those numbers in the SEC are earth-shattering.

I ranked Tim Tebow third.

McFadden's not a beast? He had 321 yards in one game this season. He led his team past almighty No. 1 LSU yesterday. He was second in last year's voting. This has nothing to do with his NFL prospects. In sj parlance, he's an effin' stud. If him and Tebow aren't 1-2 in some order, I'd be shocked.

Either was I. Not saying he doesn't deserve the award. Just responding to earliers posts and what I believe will be his professional career arc, similar to Klingler and Ware, who both won the Heisman with gaudy numbers.

The people who really know me would tell you I'm not the best person to suggest a postive outlook, but I can tell you that worse than not having more things to be thankful for is taking for granted the things you do have. Good luck turning that corner.
