This is fabulous stuff. I don't care if you're a horse racing fan or not, the final quarter-mile is just magnificent.

The Breeders' Cup Classic has become must-see TV.

I just got chills watching that, even though I knew how it ended.

What a freaking gorgeous horse. Talk about shifting into another gear.

Amazing. I'm not big on horse racing, but that was a fabulous run.

Like a distance runner, just chilling and waiting to make the last move.

I watched the race yesterday and it was certainly entertaining.
I previously made a bet on Zenyatta in Vegas last year, when she was also listed at 1-to-9.
It's funny to watch her as she walks toward the starting gate.
She seems to be sticking her tongue out and chewing on it, moreso than what might be normal for most horses.
    She seems to smile alot.

I thought it was a massive mistake when they entered her in last year's Classic, and she made me look like a fool. I'm not betting against her again.

Why not? That's where the value will be.

There's NO value in a losing bet!

Maybe, maybe not. Z's AVERAGE odds in Europe right now, for the BCC, are 7-2, though there's one major spot where you can get 5-1. Remember,
she'll likely be in against Lookin at Lucky, Blame, Haynesfield and Quality
Road . . . a far cry from the tomato cans she's been looking at in California
all summer. She's a helluva mare, but this will be a FAR tougher classic
    than she captured in '09.

Same here. Last year I told anyone who asked me about the Classic, "She's got no chance," and she resoundingly proved me to be as wrong as I could possibly be. This time I won't be leaving her off all my tickets like I did last year. If I make no money on the Classic and she retires at 20-0 and two BC wins against the boys, I can't root against that.

Meanwhile Rachel Alexandra is being bred with Curlin ... without ever racing against Zenyatta.
