    That was awful, and I can’t believe that her friends and family didn’t do more.

    That being said, if (and it is a big if) Urban’s wife didn’t speak to him about the conversation in 2015, I’m not sure that it up to Urban Meyer to meddle in the Smith marriage.

    Are you that naive? Abused women are often treated like that. Not to mention, Urban and his wife share everything, their relationship was written about a lot. Of course she told him. He lied.

    So, say that she didn’t. What was Ohio State football’s duty to the wife of an employee with respect to a marital issue?

    What duty does an employer have to intervene if they know that years ago a worker hit his spouse? Most of that article talked about what he did in private to her and that he engaged in some extremely sleazy behavior in the office which had nothing to do with the allegations of abuse.
