  1. Yes, and I also remember former Georgia hoopster Chastity Friday -- who prompted board fave Pat Forde to ask, "Well, is she free for dinner Saturday?"
I.M. Hipp of Nebraska, for you oldsters.

Pretty sure that was Kueth's brother. He played for Wisconsin.

A wonderful basketball player I saw once out of Greensville County, Va.

    The greatest name ever.

SEMO's football team had a guy a few years ago named Oge Oge.

    Some other favorites:

    Former Maryland basketballer Exree Hipp
Former Notre Dame footballer Hiawatha Francisco
    Former Washington QB Sonny Sixkiller
    Former Tennessee receiver Peerless Price

Always thought Ashley Lelie was an interesting name. Three consecutive syllables that sound the same but are spelled differently.

Then there's Tony Armas and Tony Armas Jr. Four consecutive body parts in the same name. (TOE-KNEE-ARM-ASS)

I think Exree Hipp was I.M. Hipp's brother

And then there was the great Houston Baptist center in the mid-80s, Anicet Lavodrama

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Alabama A&M's 7-foot-1 stiff Grienntys "Chief" Kickingstallionsims.

And yes, Duany Duany played for Wisconsin and Longar Longar is at Oklahoma.

He's Native American. You gotta cut some slack on the Native American names.
I saw him play when he was at Stetson. It was rather interesting seeing his name fit on the back of his uniform.

Baylor had a lineman in the late '80s/early '90s: Hunter Hunter.

Wonderful Terrific Monds III - used to be in the Braves chain. Went by Terry.

Not at all sure about this but I heard WTM I and II may have been older brothers rather than grandfather and father.
