You're on deadline ... and an emergency strikes

I've been doing this a long time in various capacities.
I have three young daughters, ages 5, 3 and 1. Parents on this board know we miss a lot of our kids' lives. Whether it's their first words, first steps, bedtime stories or achievements, we miss it all. It is part of the gig. We do what we can and we make it up where we can.
But, if your family is in trouble, you do whatever you can, in the time you have, to file what you have. Make any arrangement you can. And you get your ass home. Simple as that.
