One I forgot that came across the iPod this moring: "Raised On the Radio" by The Ravyns, a tremendous song featured in "Fast Times" that should have been a massive hit that summer.

"Born To Run" would be a good choice. Was used for years by one of the sattions here on Friday afternoons as the song to kick off the weekend.

Was expecting an Appetite For Destruction tune from you, Mizzou.

Hocus Pocus by Focus ... because it's loud and it's fast, it has one of the great guitar riffs of all time, and there's yodeling. Of course, there's nowhere to go but down when you start with yodeling, but I'll take my chances.

And I'd second a vote for Spirit of Radio by Rush. Love when they used to open their live shows with that one.

    Giving ME a DJ gig?

I think a little Alice Cooper is in order:

    "Welcome To My Nightmare."

Then again, since I am a huge Stevie Nicks fan, this might be more appropriate:

"Stand Back" from Fleetwood Mac's Live in Boston CD.

Of course, if it has to be more recent, I'm thinking "Uprising" by Muse might work.

Same album, I could go with 'The Crunge,' the greatest Led Z song.

I would play anything by Led Zeppelin. Of course, my show would get off to a late start because I'd have a hard time deciding which Led Zep song to play.

I'm not crazy about the songs, but I like Matt Bellamy's guitar mods. He's got one with the built-in Kaos pad, which he's pretty well known for, and a proximity wah and optic theremin.
    Wild, fun stuff.
