My hubby spent the equivalent of my week's salary on something he KNEW better than to buy, especially since the checking account was already at the bare minimum. I wanted to commit heinous crimes against him—still do.

I'm constanlty in the market for new gear. Good thing I'm single and all my friends are photogs. No one to complain that way.

Wow. You're right. I never noticed. I, like many, must have been asleep at the wheel. I'd fix if I knew how.

The night with the hooker or the ensuing carnage from his wife?

On another note, my wife often applauds how I don't spend much money -- that is, unless it's on food or booze. That's a different story. As for her, she hasn't bought a pair of shoes in almost a week, so we're good.

My wife just spent a couple of hundred on a new pair of shoes. She justified it by saying I spent more on tickets for the four Springsteen concerts I attended the last couple of weeks.
