I'm with pallister. Where are you supposed to meet people these days? I know it sure as hell isn't going to be at the ballpark, because the last two I picked from there ended up being deadenders ... the Man Child included!
I even have a regular job now with evenings and weekends off. Am I supposed to walk up to some Guido at the gym, ask him to put his weights down and pull his ear buds out and start chatting up a storm?
Good grief. It's tough out there.

    Pallister, meet Flash.

    Flash, Pallister.

I think you two might have something in common. :D

    (Sorry, I couldn't resist!)

For me, marriage, even at its most difficult, was 100 times easier than being single.

You need one for married -- content except for the once in a while that we want to kill each other. :)

Yesterday was the 19 year anniversary of Uma and me falling in like. We met two days earlier and fell in intrigued.

I'd vote for a mixture of the top two options. Married, mostly blissfull and usually content. When I'm neither, I can only blame myself.

Internet dating sites like eharmony? Not that that is a great option either.

There needs to be a listing for those of us with two girlfriends in two different states. Oh, and happy with the outcome.

I finally broke down and signed up for an online dating site a couple of months back. Let me just say that the few experiences I've had have not restored my faith in humanity.
