Made a playlist out of My Chemical Romance's three discs. Pretty much the only thing I've listened to for the last six months.

Oasis for rock 'n' roll. I listen to some songs 20-25 times in a row sometimes. Can't get enough of them.

Erik B. and Rakim, Boogie Down Productions for rap.

The album I've listened to most frequently of late is Nelly Furtado's Loose.

The song that's number one on my iTunes play list is "Stand Back" from Fleetwood Mac's Say You Will tour (Atlanta in case any other die hard fans are wondering).

Love when this topic pops up.

I need to get with the times and get me an IPod. It's cool how you can see how often you listen to a song.

For me, the standard bearer in the "most listened" to category has to be INXS' "Kick," which is the only tape I ever wore out from listening to it so much. Actually warped the tape. Had to buy a new one. That was a big deal back then.

I never wore out Dokken's "Back For The Attack" or the "Streets of Fire" soundtrack, but not from lack of effort. I did listen to them so much that the print on the tapes disappeared.

Other favorites from the tape era:
Soul Asylum "Grave Dancers Union" (a dubbed copy, no less)
Lou Gramm "Long Hard Look" (shut up!)

And once I converted to CDs:
    Pearl Jam "Vs"
    The first two Foreigner albums
Collective Soul's second album (played on continuous loop during layout nights)
Shades Apart "Eyewitness" (a true desert island disc)
Hall and Oates 2-disc greatest hits

  11. Albums:

    The College Dropout, Kanye West
Innervisions and Talking Book, Stevie Wonder
The Black Album, The Blueprint and The Blueprint 2, Jay-Z
What's Going On, Let's Get It On and I Want You, Marvin Gaye

    Songs

    Higher Ground, Stevie Wonder
The Message, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five
Addictive Love, Bebe and Cece Winans
    Jessie's Girl, Rick Springfield
Standing On The Top, The Temptations and Rick James
    So Amazing, Luther Vandross

That's just the short list. Then again I'm a music freak, I could put at least 2,000 songs on here.
