Your midseason World Series picks

    To be honest, as a true Rockies fan (you're dealing with someone who watched far too many Denver Bears games), I always go into a new season hoping for 63 wins before I start thinking about anything else. 63 wins = not losing 100 games, something they've never done. I'm also smart enough to know that last year was one amazing ride that quite possibly will never to be repeated. I was there for Game 3 of the World Series (first one in Denver) and I saw NLCS Game 2 in Arizona (the extra-inning win).

    Wishful thinking -- Rockies somehow avoid trading away Holliday, etc. and find a way to win the NL W(orst)est and go on another run (though I'm OK with a few playoff losses so they don't sweep through to the Series and then have the bats go cold).

    If I have a more legit prediction:

    Angels 4, Cubs 3
