You weren't alone in telling me that, trust me. My K-State and Mizzou friends were gleeful when they saw KU drew VaTech, expecting a blowout.

I didn't call them after the game ... but they did get e-mails. ;D

You know, a lot of people said the same about KU before the VaTech game.

As for my post above, I didn't mention KU to be a better team once. I didn't claim KU would beat USC. You won't hear me claim that, period. Why you're going after the Jayhawks when no one brought them up in this discussion (before you did) is beyond me.

But to say USC was banged up for the Oregon game when Oregon itself was struggling with some injuries is a bit disingenious. That backup running back, Jeremiah Johnson, averaged nine carries and 57.3 yards rushing in his six games. In fact, he gained 63 yards on four carries against Washington State before he left the game with an injury; Stewart ran nine more times but for only 3 more yards that day.

It's not like Johnson averaged two carries for 6 yards, he actually did something for the Ducks.

And, I wasn't picking a fight. Probably a bit over-tired.
Buckweaver, is right in many respects. Everyone likes this USC team, but it had many holes.

But, I don't want people to forget, that with Dennis Dixon, Oregon may have been the best team in the country.
