What Westerns do you own on DVD or would most like to have? Top Five or so

Recently went to target and they had some on sale.

    The Magnificent Seven
    Fort Apache
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly/ Hang em High (Double Feature DVD)

    Others I want:
The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
    Rio Grande

The Searchers and the Outlaw Josey Wales are two of my tops.

(What's funny if you go back and watch some of the better Westerns is that quite a few are fairly accurate in their portrayal of life at the time. Of course most are way over the top.)

    I'll bite.

    McClintock
    Rio Grande :D
Lonesome Dove (the original miniseries, not the series) Robert Duvall and Tommie Lee Jones are classic
    True Grit
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Have em all and watch em often.

I have the two Eastwood 3-packs. My sister got them for me at Christmas.
    Pale Rider
    Unforgiven
    Josey Wales
    Good, Bad and the Ugly
    For a Few Dollars More
    A Fistful of Dollars

My mom's a big western nut. I use to borrow all the John Wayne ones from her and then my sister bought Eastwood ones for me.

Wish I had Once Upon A Time in the West.

Tombstone -- the best of 'em all, IMO.

Big Jake is my favorite movie by the Duke.

  10. Angola!

    Angola! Guest

    Tombstone
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Beyond that, well I just like to read the Lonesome Dove books. It's much better than the lame trilogy.
