Been together in some form since 1973. Pretty fucking awesome, no matter what genre you prefer.

And Taj Mahal can join the band, too, playing anything he wants to on any given song.
That would be some good, old-timey music.

  4. Holy lord.
What are the Doors except a cheesy boy-band that took too damn many drugs?

What? No love for Joe Stumpy Peyps on drums? Great look, good drummer.

And if you want to throw in another guitarist, i'd go with Ronnie Pudding.

I think I saw him driving an electric car. Lost the look.

Bass: Tommy Shannon (of Double Trouble)
Guitar: Four-guitar lineup, featuring two freestylists (Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddie King) and two technicians (Joe Satriani and Tom Scholz of Boston.)
Drums: Moon and Bonham are like the Manning and Brady of this conversation. I'd take Moon, but if he was too drunk to play that night, Bonham would be a more than acceptable sub.
Keyboards: Billy Powell, Lynyrd Skynyrd. His piano is what made Skynyrd different from every other Southern rock band.
Vocals: Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland -- although I would want to hear her sing more of the Joplin-esque, unrestrained style of her pre-Sugarland days with Soul Miner's Daughter and as a soloist.

I'd like to ask all who are voting for the all-deceased team to consider Eddie Hazel, orginial lead guitarist for Funkadelic. Check out the song Maggot Brain. Lovely as it gets.
