I thought some more about this and I'd also love to be in the room profiling the relationship between the President and his speech writer on the eve of a huge speech, like maybe the Inauguration.

I'd love to see how the writer brainstorms his or her ideas, how they outline it, how they pitch it to the President, what gets edited, why it gets edited, how the final copy looks compared to what was originally drafted, how the President prepares for it and how both react to the reviews it gets the next day.

That would be a lot of fun.
