Whether beer fetcher or prominent poster, what are you known for here?

What's your lasting contribution at SJ, that thing that separates you from the woodwork? What would an entry in the SJ Style guide attributed to you be?

Is it your kittehs, your certitude that you are good enough for the Plain Dealer? Is it your knife salespersonship; your Barnes & Noble-and-cornfield prowess; your Canadian-ness?

For me? Other than the obvious, it's that I I started this thread, destined to outlast DocTalk and the entire Design board combined.

Rancid, rotten, soggy, saggy, splitting, flaccid, flabby tubes of rotting animal flesh, languidly floating in a fetid bath of malodorous swill.

Not getting a job at the Plain Dealer, dammit.

And not wasting the good, green stuff on @Smallpotatoes

I was much more memorable when I was in a different failing marriage every month.

I'm known for my brevity, which is the soul of my wit.

I'm also known for my fine moderating skills, which I exercise with the wisdom of Solomon.

I'm a college grad from a prominent school, and spent 44 years in the sportswriting business at prominent suburban and metro newspapers. My most commented-on post on SJ was when my toddler shit on my shirt in a bowling alley.

I'm pretty sure I'm the only self-surgeon on here. Except for balls. Balls are off-limits.
    Toes, fingers...dig right in.
    Oh and eyes.
I won't go digging in my own eye socket.

I do remember shutting down the internet for a brief time on the RIP Whitney Houston thread when Poindexter when was the last time she had a hit, and I quickly responded with "Sometime Saturday afternoon."

    The natives seemed to giggle.
