I've been known to pull returnable cans out of the recycle bins at my office.

 

Mosquitoes are a damn sight bigger.

 

There was an unopened and unsecured roll of toilet paper in the student union early one school year. I snagged it and took it home. I still had some left when I moved out at the end of the school year.

 

Yeah, but I bet you ran out of shirts, didn't you?

 

That isn't because you're cheap, that's because you have hippie tendencies.

 

I should add that it was a very, very large (industrial-sized) roll.

 

Had a buddy in college who somehow scored a key to the janitor's closet in our campus apartment building...

didn't buy a roll of toilet paper, paper towels, or any sort of cleaning supply my last two years...
