Any group that I saw perform live in 1975 should not be permitted to perform at the 2008 Super Bowl. Period.

Remember that Super Bowl halftime with Nelly, J-Timberlake, Britney Spears, Aerosmith and Mary J. Blige? Good times.

How about if they have an artist from the city of last year's Super Bowl champion play the next year?

John (fill in your favorite version of his name) playing "Our Country"

I guess if the Patriots win it all this year, Aerosmith or whatever's left of Boston will have to do.

Then pray Dallas doesn't win. A Hoobastank halftime? No thank you.

I guess this means those rumors of Springsteen & the E Street Band doing the halftime show are wrong.

"tell your daddy I ain't no freak I got my picture on the cover of Time and Newsweek" - Bruce during Rosalita (varied live versions 1975-1976)

I wonder how The Eagles feel knowing they were the second choice behind a retired country singer?

Sorry. Disqualified from talking shit on the Eagles until you can get Glenn Frey's name right.

They were probably thrilled they were that high on the list!

"In The City" is my second fave Eagles song. First is "James Dean". They play those two at the SB I'm happy, otherwise I'm raiding the fridge and watcing Huggy Jr. recreate the first half.
