That stuff's funnier than Tom Cruise after jumping around on Oprah's couch.

Here's an excerpt of her Disney release "Cars 2" trailer review:

"It is so exciting to see the new film and having a glimpse is just what all of the fans need to hold them off until the flick hits the screen on June 24, 2011. Plus (and this is even more exciting) the original cast is back. Own Wilson, Bonnie Hunt and Larry the Cable Guy pick up their voices right where they left off!"

No wonder she's making so much money. I can hardly tear myself away from her riveting prose.

This is from an ESPN story. Note the second graph. Is that a deliberate attempt at SEO? Should J-schools start teaching students to insert random pop culture references into their stories?

"While the Bears' offense was doing a bang-up job in time of possession (37:51 to Miami's 22:09), they were still one play away from losing their flimsy 6-0 lead at halftime and didn't cross the goal line until two minutes remained in the third quarter.

This team needs its defense like Bristol Palin needs the Tea Party's votes on "Dancing with the Stars.""

Wow, that's embarrassing for someone writing for ESPN.

On the other hand, strained pop-culture references that are a bigger stretch than Jenna Jameson's lady-parts are as old as pop culture itself.

I hate SEO techniques because I just want to find good content. The people who run cheap content sites can just go to hell.
