I just can't believe someone is writing about how someone spells his name. If that don't beat all.

i've heard legends of sha-THEEDs, but this is the most verifiable evidence i've gotten that such a person exists. good look on that one.

  5. Area sports editor used to cover a guy in Oklahoma whose name was Cocaine Mothershead.

I wonder what his mom did for a living.

My paper did this back in 2005, courtesy of Matt Humphrey (who's now at the Orlando Sentinel).

If you go with a video game theme, you have to include the start of the season as the release date somewhere on the cover.

Any ideas for cover art for a one-school town. I have four pages for it, cover, inside sig ad page and two pages of editorial.
Circumstances: No stud player, very few defined roles, three years ago state champions, now very weak senior class, could be the first time in 15 years they miss the playoffs, first three games against top-10 teams in the state

Chance of it being a long, long season

Not to be snide, but have some balls here.

If you like your cover idea, run with it and make it look great.

You're probably gonna get a 50/50 feedback in here anyway.

If you've got the idea and know how to make it work, run with it.

Touching on spnited's post earlier, and now with examples, is this something you need permission for from EA, or Playstation, or Microsoft?
