    Apologies if this is d_bing.

    Lindenwood University in Belleville, Ill., is starting its football program this fall. Here is its new stadium's turf.

    Looks awful, but it's not original. Central Arkansas put in stripes last year.

    Both are hideous. But the purple is probably slightly easier on the eyes.

    OMG. BTW, there is also a Lindenwood University in Missouri. Was the NAIA runnerup two years ago. Their field is boring old green.

    Seriously, someone needs to step in and come up with some standards for this stuff.
