You can't make this stuff up

On sort of a related note, you can't make this up, either. Sorry if mentioned elsewhere, but one of Vick's biggest critics here in Virginia is being investigated by Animal Care and Control. Robin Starr, head of the Richmond SPCA, is seemingly fucked. She left her dog in the car for four hours last week. It was 90 degrees here, and Louie unfortunately died. The comments on the RTD are not in her favor.

Great point. Ricciardi's popularity has to be sinking even lower with every Halladay dud, huh?

It didn't make a difference. The Raptors weren't going to beat the Sixers that day. To criticize a guy for wanting to go to his graduation is stupid.

The Halladay crap was just the final straw.

Ricciardi has been on the hate list for a couple of years now but people couldn't stand the fact that Ricciard was trying to make Doc, one of the classiest athletes Toronto's seen, into the bad guy. Then people really turned on him.

He's also an arrogant SOB and acts like nobody in Canada knows squat about baseball.

Really? You state that like some kind of fact.

Vince shit the bed in game 7. Raptors could easily have won.

VC was a gutless like puke.

Someone should have stuck him iin a room with Wendel Clark for five minutes. That would have straightened things out.

The Raptors lost by one point. Carter was 6 of 18 from the floor -- and one of those was a potential game-winner at the buzzer.

That said, not sure how anyone could criticize a guy (especially one with Carter's finances and fame) for going back to be a part of his graduation either. But we can never know how much he was affected by having to fly to North Carolina and back in less than 24 hours. It obviously didn't help him.
