It seems that Dick's Sporting Goods is buying Chick's Sporting Goods. Heck, I never had heard of Chick's Sporting Goods.</a>

Dick's (Sporting Goods) is actually one of the better stores out there....good selection and variety...better than Modell's and the like, I think.

 

If you lived in SoCal's Inland Valley (Upland) or San Diego's North County (Oceanside), you've heard of Chick's. Spent my early childhood in Upland and Chick's was THE place to go if you needed soccer cleats or a baseball glove.

 

Pricey, though.

 

Yeah, you're right. I generally don't buy stuff from there until it goes on sale, though, which is fairly regularly. They have a good selection of Under Armour and stuff like that.

 

Okay I'll say it ... Chicks with Dicks.
