The Illinois Illini quarterback was 13 pounds and 8 ounces when he was born. I feel for his mother.

Me I was a slender 8 pounds, three ounces. by far the biggest of four.

Guess I should change my screen name (well, if I was allowed)...

Weighed in at 2 pounds, 5 ounces and spent nearly four months in an incubator. I popped out about two months early. This was the early 80s, so grandma wasn't exaggerating when she called me her "little miracle." ;D

Oh it's well earned. Actually derrived from my hockey playing days. Somebody was bored in class and had one of those electronic dictionaries and was just looking up random words, and aparently Beef came up with this definition: Sturdy. Seeing how very few could knock me off my feet or move me from the front of the net they thought the name suited me, so I became known simply as Beef. Now of course, it has been many years since my hockey playing days, and lets just say the name still, uh, fits. ;)

Could be worse though, could be Juice

I have a story about that as well.
Was born on Pearl Harbour Day in 1982, when my Dad's mom found out, I kid you not, her line was, "Well, it's just one disaster after another."

My two brothers and I all cleared the chute weighing between 11 and 12 bills.

    I was a shade over 9 pounds.

My son was 8-6, but he also was three weeks early. I so wanted a 10-pounder.

Wow, there are some big babies here. My daughter was 5 pounds 1 oz (3 weeks early) and I was a little over 6 pounds (a mere 222 pounds under my current weight).
