Isn't Hersey essentially a non-profit company though? Don't they give all the profits to charities?

 

Companies on the NYSE are not non-profits.

 

Hershey's chocolate over the past years has become so bitter as to be inedibile.

I wonder if a viral boycott would have any effect.

 

If I abandon every company that makes a product I use at a plant/factory/sweatshop outside the U.S., I'm not going to be able to buy much.

It sucks that those people are losing their jobs, no doubt, but it's not going to stop me from buying a York Peppermint Patty if I want one.

 

I haven't had a york peppermint patty in 15 years and it looks like its going to stay that way. I might have a hard time giving up Hershey Special Dark however

 

Has anyone ever said, hey, I want a York Peppermint Patty?

Nope? Never? That's what I thought.

 

Are those those little things they have at restaurant cashier counters? There's usually a plastic thingy for a donation.

Anyway, this means a good number of Mexicans will have new jobs, which might keep them from coming into this country illegally in search of work. The world is flat. Or something.

 

Special Dark is crack for me.

 

But what would you do for a Klondike bar?
