Yet another reason the NFL rocks

    My point was, the games do matter now. The Steelers needed to win their last four games last season just to make it into the playoffs. The Bears' great start doesn't guarantee them anything with regards to January.

    The 1987 Chargers started 8-1, only to lose their last six and miss the playoffs.

    The 2003 Vikings started 6-0, only to lose 18-17 in the regular-season finale at Arizona on the last play. They also missed the playoffs.

    The good teams find a way to win in the NFL. Parity's overrated. Fuck competitive balance. Now excuse me while I go watch the World Series.

    The Steelers-Chiefs game I watched part of on Sunday was fucking terrible.
