If you go to Yellowstone go 1 mile east of the east entrance and get the pancakes at Pahaska Tepee.

Buffalo burgers are so much better where there are actual buffaloes.

Go to Glacier while there are still glaciers to see. They are disappearing very quickly. I have been fortunate enough to visit all three parks, and Glacier is the one I would choose if just picking one.

Yikes! Good luck getting a reservation at Mammoth Hotel or Old Faithful Lodge. Pick up the phone and dial now!

Also get dinner reservations now if you stay at Old Faithful. Can't tell you how many times tourists (especially foreigners) try to show at the check in desk at 10p and expect a room to be available or dinner to be had. Even camping spots can be hard to find in a short amount of time.

I've stayed at Grant Village at YNP and found it quite comfortable. Nothing fancy. It's at the south end of the park tho and not quite as convenient to Glacier.

And yes, please don't pet the bison.
