Across 110th Street is a very good song and I really like If You Think You're Lonely Now, but he's in the Hall of Very Good.

Rush should be in. To say they never rocked shows the musical tatse of a retarded squirrel. 2112 is off-the-charts good.

Rush shouldn't get in until Pantera does.

    I loved Pantera.

    They shouldn't sniff the Hall.

    Sorry, pallister.

IF Run-DMC gets in off the strength of "Walk This Way," then Vanilla Ice should be in on the basis of "Ice Ice Baby" and Tone Loc for "Wild Thing."

I'm not saying Kiss deserves to be in, but at least in my house, the appeal of the band to boys between the ages of 5 and 12 is timeless. My 5-year-old was just singing along to this:

Even a 5-year-old understands the simple magic of rock and rolling all night, and partying every day.

Maybe he'll be like two classmates of mine who, in the second grade in my Catholic school, wowed the St. Paul, Owosso, Mich., crowd with their one-note acoustic guitar and pre-pre-teen screamy vocals of "Hotter than Hell."

EDIT: Oh fuck. "Detroit Rock City" on the Paul Lynde Halloween Special!

I'd take Kiss over Rush in the HOF 1,000 times over.

Pantera rocked a bit in their day. They've got a better resume than lots of inductees.

Kiss is the worst band in the history of recorded music.

KISS is like Marilyn manson, is like Alice Cooper.

You spend THAT much time on bullcrap stagecraft, wearing costumes, and trying to "Put on a SHOW!!!" the music can't possible be THAT good.

(Iron maiden in its heyday notwithstanding).
