Question for the masses ... what are these yellow dots on the backs of the quarterback's helmets?

How weird is this sideline interview of Chris Mortensen?

The dots on the QB helmets are green, at least they have been in every game I've watched. And no, I have no idea what they're for. Anybody?

They have the radio in it. You are only supposed to have one radio on the field while you are on offence. The green dot is the only way the refs can check.

I loved Blank and Mackay reacting to Mort's comments.

For all the shots that are taken against Atlanta fans - Terence Moore said today the Falcons would lead the league in no-shows -- I'm pretty impressed with this crowd. The No .7 jerseys, I think, indicate individuals lacking perspective, but the fact that it's near capacity shows an interest many seem to think isn't there.

"Lacking perspective" is not the phrase I would use.

Fans will always stick by their star player. Always.

Nice to see that the Falcons' WRs haven't learned how to catch yet.

Always, Chuck? Your hero worship is ridiculous. You telling me every Falcons fan still supports Vick, and every one with a Vick jersey is stupid enough to be seen in public with them?

I think it's more than sticking with the star player. Maybe it's the only jersey some people own. I still wear my Piazza jersey to every Mets game. Like David Putty, "you gotta support the team" ... no matter who's name is on the back of the jersey. I assume it's more about the team and less about making a statement. But I'm sure there are some who are wearing No. 7 out of support, too.
