The other has to be Baby Be Mine?

I was going to pick that song first, but for some reason I thought PYT didn't chart.

Kind of amazing that just two of the seven songs hit No. 1.

And for all the attention Beat It, Billie Jean and the title track got, the first release from the album, I believe, was the McCartney duet.

apologies to every person pimping this guy, but ...

michael jackson was the hannah montana of the 80s. i knew nobody who owned that piece of shit album -- or any of his albums for that matter -- other than 11-year-old girls.

i think i can safely say michael rozier's ass had a bigger impact on 1983 than michael jackson's music or videos.

It didn't sell 30-odd million copies by appealing only to pre-teens.

You're hanging out with a secluded crowd then. 100 million albums sold (Thriller alone) tells me there were more than 11-year old girls buying it. Maybe my math is fuzzy, though.

Hey, no one is denying that Michael Jackson has turned into a freak. But Thriller was brilliant music, one after another. 99 percent of albums have throwaways. That album had none, and several timeless classics.

By the way, I'd buy this album if I didn't already have the original.

Which one of the remixes are worth buying on iTunes, Petey?

jesus, you, more than anyone knows the sappy shit i admit to having listened to when i was young. i say with all honesty that 95 percent of the people i knew mocked MJ's silly ass back in the '80s. but then again, i wasn't 11.

  11. I'm with you, Tomas. None of my friends had the album.

and when that stupid fucking video came on MTV it was either super mocked or the channel was turned?
