Oh yeah, it's not even close to the best song on the album.

    Billie Jean is.

Speaking of which, I just watched the live performance of Billie Jean at the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today and Forever broadcast and I'm convinced he lip synched the whole thing. And that upsets me. But holy shit the man could dance.

Were Michael Jackson's lines in the Thriller video a premonition?

"I have something I want to tell you. I'm not like other guys. No, I mean I'm different."

    No shit, weirdo.

But I still dig his tunes and moves.

Honestly, I'd rather get an original copy of "Thriller" on vinyl. However, I plan to pick up a copy on CD, but not the re-release. I listened to the covers (by Akon, Fergie, Will.i.am) and it's just such a let down.

I just read a story in the Baltimore Sun today about the 25th anniversary of the album:

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/news/bal-to.thriller12feb12,0,1277740.story

Laugh at Michael Jackson if you want, but like PI echoed in a prior post, I've noticed that any time someone puts on a cut from "Thriller" at a party or a wedding, everyone either gets up and dances or at leasts sings along to it.

Cougar, I started posting on here before I watched the DVD. It's nothing special, but you get Billie Jean, Thriller, Beat It and a performance from the Motown 25 concert with the CD.

I actually like the DVD better than the CD.
