    Putting Puig on the AS team is the same reason I ignore for the most part how many years a guy was an AS. Sandy Alomar, Jr was what a 10 time AS? Simply because he had a cool name.

    When Nate McLouth gets to say he's an AS, then well its diluted.

    I think Sammy Kalifa may have even made it one year.

    It's so idiotic that this has become an issue.

    Because of the stupid "has to be a player from each team" rule, there are usually 2-3 players on each roster who shouldn't be anywhere near that game.

    While it would be nice to see him there, he has only been a Major League player for a month. He does not belong there this year.
