Yankees ban ESPN from conference calls

    It's common knowledge Torre despises ESPN.
    He'd rather talk to a reporter from a 10K newspaper than someone holding an ESPN flag.

    He might work for FOX but never ESPN.

    Regular season game on FOX in '99 or 2000, Torre was miked for between innings "sounds of the game" crap.. except someone accidentally turned the mike on live and caught him dropping an F-bomb in the dugout, which went out on the air.
    He refused to do any between innning stuff with FOX for a number of years.

    It's a good thing McCarver will be there until he dies. And he's never going to die.
