Yankee Season Ticket Holders Come On Down

    If it was 1973 and the original Yankee Stadium, then I'd pay.
    I've been to a few games and I never felt it was anything that special.
    And to all those "blue-collar" Yankee and Met fans who are priced out of the new ballparks, you can go see the Staten Island Yankees and Brooklyn Cyclones.
    AKA baseball welfare.

    That's why as a Yankees fan I was rooting against them this year. I figured if the early season fade continued into August I could get tickets cheaply. Didn't happen this year.
    I had bleacher seats for Game 5 of the '01 World Series and Game 1 of the '02 ALCS. Haven't been to the stadium since. Between the work schedule and the ticket prices I haven't been able to make it out there. Last regular season game I attended at the stadium was prior to '95.
