When we see Harry walking to the booth with dark glasses and a white cane, you'll know the end is near.

Sorry, I like Suzyn. She's a nice person who works hard at her craft. Sterling, on the other hand, is a pompous buffoon and I can't stand listening to him.

I love the story Artie Lange tells about Sterling.

He runs into Sterling on the field at Yankee Stadium before a game.

Sterling: "How'd you get down here?"

Lange: "I won a Suzyn Waldman lookalike contest."

    Sterling: "I can see it."

Suzyn is probably a wonderful person, and it's unfair for anyone to have to work with Sterling, but I don't enjoy listening to her.

Yankee radiocasts will not be any good no matter who the broadcasters are until they reduce the number of live reads. Every single pitch is brought to you by some sponsor or another.

Suzyn is a living example of the peter principle.
