Yahoo! reports UConn violated recruiting rules

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by Piotr Rasputin, Mar 25, 2009.

  1. It does explain a little the outburst at the blogger and the "dehydration" for game one.
Let's not forget that UConn has a long history with street-agents.

My best advice to Yahoo! is to shut up. How dare Yahoo! get some facts and come back and see Calhoun.

"Hey Yahoo wouldn't have to ask these questions if the other guys covering UConn covered this stuff........"

My advice to you is to shut up. [/Jim Calhoun]

He'd like to be able to retire someday. He's getting tired.

If you ignore a FOI request, you can be sued. And you will lose.

In theory yes, or close to it.

In reality, public institutions can make you jump through so many hoops and wait so long to get the information that you're only going to get it if you're VERY persistent and patient. FOIA requests are pretty much useless for daily stories.

I hate you. I'm STILL angry about Trajan dribbling the ball off his own foot. Goddammit.
