Yahoo, NBC Sports to collaborate, share some content

    Interesting given that they have (for now) competing sports radio networks with their branding.

    NBC seems to be making a serious run at ESPN, and for good reason. ESPN's current product sucks.

    Wonder if/how this would effect NBC using their Comcast affiliates Web stuff and/or the PFT stuff on the Sunday night NFL show? Replaced by Yahoo? More Yahoo guys getting play on the local Sunday night Comcast wrap shows?

    Well since the story says PFT is part of the NBC package, guessing it won't "effect" it at all.

    I like this move. NBC has some good content -- and Yahoo Sports has some outstanding content.

    NBCSports.com is practically a non-entity; rebranding it or merging with Y!Sports would make a ton of sense for Comcast.
