    Here's a link on the layoffs.They will happen 4 days after the Christmas party. Nice huh!

    They should have a showing-of-hands over whether to have the Christmas party at all, knowing that these cuts are coming.

    Then, those who vote yes, they're the ones who get laid off.

    NASCAR side was gutted -- Jerry Bonkowski (big loss) and Bob Margolis (not so big loss) didn't have their contracts renewed ... Jay Hart, who was brought on just a few months ago to be the section editor, was kept on, but I understand he's having to oversee stuff other than NASCAR now ... now, all their content is coming from NASCAR.com and AP ...

    Bonkowski is a huge loss. I don't really follow NASCAR, but I still enjoyed his stuff when I read it.
