    Indeed. I wasn't aware of that story at all; I'm surprised a movie hasn't been made about Chuck Hughes.

    Chuck Hughes had a heart attack during the game. But I can only come up with these guys who died as a direct result of injuries suffered in play, in the "major leagues."

    Bill Masterton in NHL.
    Ray Chapman in MLB.
    Howard Glenn in AFL.
    Anyone in NBA? Or NFL?
