XM - news you can use

My subscription to XM radio was set to expire today. I called and told them I didn't want to renew for $150 a year because I don't use it that much now. They offered me $9 a month/$108 for the year. I said no, that still isn't worth it for no more than I use it. I was then offered 50% off -- $75 for 12 months. That, I took.

If you have subscription about to run out, it may be worth the time to work them a little (although I honestly did intend to cancel) and get a deal.
