    In the first go-round for the XFL there were a couple of people in my friend's circle that made out like bandits in the first few weeks just better the under lines.

    Kicking myself for not doing the same thing. They've got innovations for higher scoring and all but those don't matter if the QBs can't play a lick.

    I think the innovations have worked with quicker plays and better chunk plays, not necessarily more points. I was watching the Dallas/LA game and there were plenty of good offensive plays in the first half and scoring drives that were stopped with turnovers.

    Apparently my state (Mississippi) will not sanction betting on the XFL. Went to the local sports book today and asked the clerk about it and she said the gaming commission squashed it for whatever reason even though the books want it.
    Maybe if it makes it to Season 2 and gains a little more legitimacy we'll get it.
