X Files: I Want to Believe it's not going to suck

I did a search and didn't see a thread about the new "X Files" movie coming up.

I can't say I watched the show that much, but I thought the movie was well done. Can't imagine how the response will be to it all this time later. Anyone looking forward to it?

 

I watched the show. Somewhere, I have lots of VHS tapes.

I just can't figure out what they have left to mine from that franchise.

 

Awesome thread title. I was an X-Files fan back in the day. Will not see this. I have no interest whatsoever. I MAY rent it.

 

I'll go see it to see if Gillian Anderson can break her way back into Westie's SpankBank 5®.

 

From the clips I've seen Gillian looks sensational.

 

David Duchovny is a better-looking man than Gillian Anderson is a woman.

 

I just looked this up on the usual places online.

I will not see this. Based on what I've read, I'm tremendously disappointed.

In conclusion, I'd like to kick Chris Carter in the balls.

So far the previews haven't been of interest. Like the other movie, they're still somewhere in ice.

And we didn't miss the TV show.

On the plus side, Gillian does look even better than before. Has she spent the last few years working out?

I love the X-Files. Sometimes I stay up late and watch the 2-6 a.m. reruns on TNT on Monday nights. It seems weekly, however, the network changes the night the mini-marathon runs.

Anyway, I'll try to see this movie. Why the hell not? It's the freakin' X-Files.

 

Actually, I believe she spent the last few years making babies.
