    El Segundo is fine. I get the sentimentality of leaving the old building, but whining about the new base being in El Segundo—because El Segundo—is silly. There’s a ton of action and business in and around that area.

    I forgot another bad thing about El Segundo. The Hyperion sewage treatment plant. It has provided another unflattering nickname: "El Segundo, where the sewage meets the sea."

    If you swim in El Segundo or Long Beach you get what you deserve.

    And I thought Hyperion was in Redondo.
