Lions still have a chance if they hold them on third and 8 right here.

Field goal is good. 49ers up by 6. 1:02 left.

Two miserable possessions by Detroit in the last 2:00.

And it's over. Packers are the last unbeaten team.

Harbaugh and Schwartz get into it after the game.

Ugly start in the Dallas/NE game. Both teams have 2 turnovers.

I was watching Harbaugh and thinking, "What an ass." Can't blame Schwartz for that one.

Agreed. He's dancing around like a cheerleader, yelling and screaming as he aggressively shakes Shwartz's hand, and Schwartz didn't like it. Harbaugh, as usual, out of line.

Meanwhile, SF 5-1, including three wins in the Eastern time zone.

Where the heck was that Rashard Mendenhall the first four weeks of the season (he was out last week with a hamstring injury)? Isn't Jacksonville's run defense decent?

Could be a costly win for the Steelers. They lost another lineman, Doug Legursky, to either a foot or ankle problem. Not sure how bad that one is yet, but they have no depth left at all up front.

Troy Polamalu looks like he has yet another concussion, which makes nine or 10 since his freshman year at USC. Didn't help that his idiot teammate Ryan Clark headbutted him right after the play.

certainly not a move you make in the nfl but schwartz deserves MOST of the blame here. he's gotta know better than to go after harbaugh on the field. who knows what an ensuing brawl could've wrought. and with both teams going through the same doorway/tunnel entrance it could've been ugly.

but i have a feeling nfl coaches are laying in the tall grass for a shot at harbaugh. as an ex-player of such recent vintage, he's made their jobs look much too easy, first on the college level and now in the nfl. coaches have just been waiting for harbaugh's 'enthusiasm' to tick them off. now they have it.

c'mon. have we ever seen anything like this incident? what is this, hockey? wwf? the commish will be calling both gents.

seriously, almost every other coach turns the other cheek and files it away. schwartz came off very small, imo.
