WTF is going on in Shawano, Wisconsin?

That's disturbing. This is even more so:

The group in question is something called the "Samanta Roy Institute of Science and Technology, Inc.," about whom I can find next to no unbiased data. Reminds me somewhat of the followers of Baghwan Shree Rajneesh back in the 80s ... you may remember them as the perpetrators of the single largest bioterrorist attack in United States history and later an attempt to kill the U.S. attorney for Oregon.

It is apparently less boring than it was 30 years ago.

I believe he's been one for quite a few years now--really movin' up the food chain.

 

He's been with CBS for awhile, I think.

 

I got nothing except I ate in Shawano once and, until now, the only TV news story I've seen about them was a hilariously pious "investigative" report about a swinging party getting shut down at one of the local hotels.

Maybe the swingers are fighting back? Or, based on what I read in that Post-Crescent story, since these freaks are hotel owners in the Shawano area, maybe the swingers are DEAD.

Seriously, though, that's some fucked up shit.
