Writer defends Savage's autism remarks

I meant to put this on the other thread, never got the chance.
Goofball is trying to sell a book on this topic.

Did anyone here even know that before the garbage came out of his mouth?

My question is -- who in the hell listens to this guys show?

He is a world class blow hard who just rambles and rambles about nothing and everything he says is inflammatory and way over the top.

I can see the attraction to Rush (though I am not a fan), who is funny and entertaining and at least tries to talk about relevant topics, but I have never figured out what redeeming qualities Hannity, Glenn Beck and this idiot Savage bring to the table because all three are just idiotic and unlistenable.

 

I'm a little offended at all this talk about ADD/ADHD being like a little fucking headache or sore throat.

Is it as serious as something like autism? No. But in a lot of cases, it's a very real problem.

Some quack doctors giving unneccesary medication to some children doesn't mean the whole thing is a farce.

 

Savage seems like he's just counter programming by stations who can;t afford to carry Rush or Hannity.

I thought everyone on this board was a Rush fan. Don't you people plan your vacations around their concerts?

 

Rush sucks, they couldn't open for the Go Gos.

I am a fan of the band Rush, well, not a big fan, but I'll listen to their music.

I am not a fan of the radio personality named Rush. I can admit he is good at what he does, it is just not my cup of tea.
