Do any papers do weekly wrestling stats? If so, what stats do you use — wins, pins, takedowns, anything else?

Go for win leaders, fall leaders, takedown leaders at each weight class if you can. Otherwise, you're comparing apples and oranges.

We do wins, losses, percentage (of course) and pins -- just to keep it basic.

Getting basketball, football, baseball, whatever stats from some of our coaches is bad enough.

Although I know at least three of our six wrestling coaches would be all for having a wrestling stats page. The other three wouldn't have a clue when it comes to keeping stats like that.

Well, it shouldn't be hard to grab the takedown totals. So long as someone keeps a good book -- and the home book should be in concert with the visitor's -- it's just a matter of inputting the tally marks into a document and into en e-mail.
