Rough week. Vastly underrated. Bright, hilarious and a laugh a second. Big loss.

    RIP.

    Damn.

After losing Garagiola and now Shandling, if I'm Uecker, Letterman or Leno, I avoid stairs, streets and spicy food for a while.

Jeez. They're dropping like flies. Shandling. Garagiola. Howard. Cruyff. Threes doesn't matter these days.

Absolutely. Two of the most underrated shows in TV history.

Rob Ford is probably in that cluster, too.

This sucks. I loved watching Shandling......Shandling, Torn and Tambor had a chemistry together that was a blast to watch.
When I saw him on Comedians in Cars a couple of months ago, he didn't look all that whippy.......
    RIP

Antenna TV airing the Tonight Show where Shandling made his Carson debut right now ( 11 pm. EST). Re-Broadcast at 2 AM EST.

When the Garry Shandling show came out, people made a big deal about him breaking down the fourth wall by talking to the audience. Some people thought it never had been done before, but George Burns was doing it 30 years earlier in the 1950s.
