Would you start a LH golfer playing RH?

    If she has no preference, I'd encourage righty. If she naturally wants to play lefty, she needs to.

    Being a left handed golfer up here isn't a big deal--there are more lefties per capita up here than anywhere in the world. It has to do (and I'm not kidding, the way you shoot in hockey. More left handed shots in hockey than righties)

    Get her to learn to play leftie.

    My eldest throws right, bats left, shoots left in hockey and plays golf left-handed.

    But he is naturally right handed.

    He started playing golf with me when he was about nine. His golf swing made him look like he was trying to club a gopher but as soon as I realised that he was a lefty, he turned into a halfway decent golfer.

    Let her swing lefty. You should "unlearn" your baseball swing for golf anyway.
